Global Voices - Understanding and Inclusion
The course introduces learners to practice resources and advice, including translation and interpretation support, understanding cultural differences, local authority responsibilities, training and development resources and supporting community integration. Course aims are to:
-
understand the population changes within Cornwall, why that change is taking place and how teams will need to adapt to meet different needs.
-
be able to recognise how your behaviours, and your bias can impact on service quality.
-
provide information and tools to develop your skills and if we can help you to be a credible voice in your community.
