SPACE (Supporting Parents and Children Emotionally) Combined 3-day Facilitator Training

Join us and train to become a SPACE facilitator.

Here in Cornwall, SPACE is part of a growing trauma informed offer. Designed to support you as practitioners' the uniqueness of the SPACE toolkit is unlike any other available locally to families.

A relationship-based delivery model that actively advocates and promotes working in partnership alongside parents, carers, children and young people we welcome applications from professionals who work to support families learning and understanding of children and adult emotional health, wellbeing and life experiences as influencing factors in presenting behaviours.

Intended as a preventative universal programme SPACE focuses on attachment, connection and the maintenance of positive social, emotional, mental health and wellbeing for the whole family. Taking a strengths-based approach we aim to help families to recognise their own power and ability to make changes and build resilience.

With take away strategies to implement at home and use in everyday life we can demonstrate that positive change is possible  

This training is fully funded and FREE to professionals (but you need to sign and agree that you will offer SPACE as a group intervention)

Once training is complete you will have everything you need to deliver the 5-week educational programmes to groups of Parents & Carers and Children & Young People.

Please Note!

Due to its popularity only one fully funded place is bookable per person. Any last-minute cancellations (unless there are extenuating circumstances) may result in you not being able to re-book and you may be liable to pay for the cost of the course. We therefore recommend ensuring should the need arise that someone else is able and available to take your place. All attendees need to have completed the registration process 14 days prior to the start date in order to allow for course preparations to be finalised, including sending out materials to delegates.
