Mental Health and Wellbeing in Schools – FREE Training for ALL School Staff; Governors and colleagues supporting MH & WB in schools.
The Educational Psychology Service, working with colleagues in Headstart and beyond, have localised materials provided by the DfE and integrated best practice across Cornwall into a practical and flexible resource to help YOU, the wider school community and children and young people to ‘Weather the Storm’ and navigate safely to calmer waters…
Our introductory Webinar provided an introduction to wellbeing and resilience and looked at a whole school approach to wellbeing and highlighted the wide-ranging support available in Cornwall. This was attended by over 600 people and went down really well. Links to resources from this webinar can be found on our wellbeing resources page.
Phase 2 - Themed Sessions
Phase 2 will focus on themed sessions including Staff Wellbeing; Anxiety & Low Mood; Stress and Trauma; Emotionally based school avoidance; and lastly Bereavement and Loss. There will also be additional topics available based on YOUR feedback. More detail about the sessions
Delegates will be able to access all the training materials and additional resources / information to support cascade / further training back in schools.
The training is based on Wellbeing for Education Return, a national programme initiated and funded by the DfE.
All sessions will be online (Microsoft Teams)
